Drill on extruded Drawing as reference

Hello,

My name is Peter. I have extruded an drawing in Creo 2.0.

Now I want to drill holes beginning from another layer.

As reference for these threaded holes I want to use points of the Drawing which I extruded from.

I attached a picture of the part.

Hi Peter,

I am not sure I understand the problem you are running into.  I just tried putting a hole feature, using a datum point as a reference, and was able to do is successfully.  Please upload your model here, and I can investigate further.
