Edge color in transperent components

Hello,

 

I would like to change the edge colors of my transparent components to black.

is that possible?

Is also possible to put a component transparent in some simplified reps as default? It's anoying every time I start up CREO, I need to change that in the components, that I need.

By default, edge color for "Shaded with edges" is black.. but after applying transparency it is slightly on gray side. To have it as dark black, you can create a custom black color (for RGB 0, 0 ,0) in appearance and apply to that part, later apply other color to the surfaces of that model... 

I think steps for alternate option in article CS212205 will help you. 

 

Also, there will not be any possibility for components to place in Simp rep on the basis of transparency.

As always, a workaround for everything... Not a very productive task, doing this changes, for the needed parts. Hope to see this improvement implemented.
