How are you creating the PDF? There are 2 methods, print and SaveAs.

How big is your drawing that you need to convert?

How many sheets?

Time is relative and all of the above will impact it.

If the model is complicated and especially if you have 3d -views (lots of lines), it does take a little bit to create. They tend to be large PDF files also.

You should try the print to PDF if you have a PDF printer driver (I think windows now includes it) to see if it improve the time.

Also, if you are printing to a large paper size, that does increase time (in my experience) due to the larger size of the PDF.

I would suggest experiementing with different settings to see if you can find a reasonable compromise between time and quality

Hi,

also if the drawing contains lot of text and you stroke text fonts, then you will get extremely large PDF.
