extrusion on the side of a round cap at a different angle.

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 8.0 (connected) Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.1.0

I am trying to create an extrusion on a side of a plastic cap that is on an angle approximately half way up. It is a detailed serration that has a radius of .016 deep and a quantity of 106 around the perimeter.

You'll need to give more information or a picture or some indication of what your problem is. Error message? Pattern difficulties?

This is the surface I am having trouble extruding a serration onto. The lower part of the surface I have a serration established and now I need to add one one directly above it so it can be patterned to 106 total around the outside. I attempted to use the plane at the beginning of the angle and add a taper to it and no luck. Thanks, Fred.

When you say "no luck", what do you mean? Is the failure in your sketch or the creation of the plane?
