Hello,

so my problem is that i have a family table with three instances (A,B and generic). Depending on the choosen one, different Features in the lower parts should be activated or suppressed. So when i try to add a column with the Features, it wont let me choose them. I also tried it with Pro/Program but with no success. Are here others ways or have i done somethring wrong?

Please answer me.

Thanks

Steve

For expample: i have a ball und a cube

in the first part i choose what i want. the ball or the cube (that works)

in the second part i want to adjust the housing form them (copie-geometrie and exrtudeted both, so i have the housing with a extrusion of a ball and one with a cube). (also worked)

Ant now i want to suppress that one feature that i dont need. How do i make this?

Thx

I suggest you post a model that you are having this issue with. Note the version of Creo you are using as well.

First update: I have managed to suppress them with pro/program and an parameter. In the moment i work on a "simpler" part to understand the pricipel befor i go to my bigger one.

A have a .asm with the generic, variant A and B.  (picture familytable)

There are also two parameters which should suppress the extrude feature (the to right ones). If i set them manuelly, it works. But if open a variant an try to regenerate it, an error (picture error) appears. The relations are correct and function, but only in the generic one.

So is there a setting to "allow" this? Or is ther a other way to make this possible?

Creo 9.0.5.0 Parametic (Educational Edition, full license, expect some application (simulation))

Hope this helps

Edit:

All i want is to click these (red) .asm for a family table in the main .asm.

When i open the main .asm it should open a choosing menu, where you can choose between designpl and designk. Depending on wich one, it should ask if i want the 90p-lan/90p-una or 100p (when designpl is clicked). An the rest when the designkl is clicked.

(I know i can assemble all in one .asm without the innenleben.asm and make a familytree but this is only a ermergency solution for me)

Could i have writen this on the first time? Yes, but I´m stupid as f and brain not braining correctly
