Hi all,

Is there anyway that all the existing instances in a family table can be deleted without having to open up each generic prt  in Creo?

Thanks

To delete an instance, delete the row that contains the instance.

The only method in the UI I am aware of to access the row of a family table is done in the generic model where the instances are defined. I do not think it is possible to delete an instance an using the UI without opening the generic model.

The only option I can think of would be to modify the instance index file using one of the APIs if that is supported (which I doubt).

If you wanted to overwrite a large number of instances in a table you could import a table with a single record, I have not tried this. It seems like it should work but you would still have one instance when doing this.
