Fill the void of a complex solid

Hello everyone,

 

I need to find the geometry that fill a complex solid (see image below).Capture.PNG

Anyone knows which is the propper methodology?

Copy the surfaces of the inside wall of the solid. Fill holes as required to close the quilt. Using the seed/bound selection can greatly speed up selection of the surfaces.

 

Once you have a closed quilt you can solidify it. If you have other solids that would subtract from this envelope then use the merge/cut out functionality to remove those elements.
