What is with Framework now creating drawings automatically in Creo 7.0.5.0? It is annoying to have to go through our work spaces and delete these files and we certainly do not want the users to check this garbage into Windchill.

I tested moving the files and that worked, no new drawings created.

It appears that only the files in the steel_beams_inch and steel_beams_mm have drawing files in them.

Hi @BenLoosli ,

 

we are aware of this issue and a fix will be submitted in in Creo 7.0.8.0. 

 

However, there is a workaround. 

If you go to <Creo Install>/common files/afx/parts/profiles/steel_beams_mm/ you can delete or rename the template drawings, then they will no longer be copied.

A similar approach also applies for all the other template folders.

    Can the drawing template files be moved to a sub-folder to prevent the software from finding them and creating the drawings? That would be easier than renaming all of the files.
