Hi,

When trying to check in one assembly in to Windchill, I'm getting error message as

"NDI ERROR:two dependencies have same uniqueID "R/-1/XXX-XXXX-XXX.prt/null"

Please let me know how to solve this error.

This is the way I ususally solve this:

  1. Rename offending file in commonspace to non-desired name
  2. Sync workspace with commonspace to update filename
  3. Open parent file make edit, save and checkin
  4. Rename offending file in commonspace back to desired name
  5. Sync workspace with commonspace to update filename
  6. Open parent file make edit, save and checkin
  7. End of process

^ This worked for me.
