Going MBD: use ModelCHECK to verify for no drawing dimensions!?

We want to go Model Based Definition which also means having the drawings just display the dimensions and other annotations.

But then from time to time, people create dimensions in die drawings.

How to check for them? How to find them using ModelCHECK?

It seems there was a check for this in the last century, but not in the version 8 or 9 of Creo Parametric...?

Does anybody have an idea how to make ModelCHECK list/warn of dimensions created in the drawing?

Best Regards

Hi,

according to Help Center contents it seems to me that the only solution is to develop custom check using Toolkit.

If using MBD why are you even creating drawings?

Drawings are a separate file, so even if created they would not get transmitted to a vendor with the model unless explicitly sent.

Still using DRW files because we are not there yet 🤷‍♀️

We want to get there, but the reality here is that in single part quantities which we do most shops are not yet there
