Hole Command Defaults

When I create a new hole in a creo model, is there a way that I can default to "Type - Standard" and also have the "Size - Thread type:" already looking at the correct .hol file?

Right now it defaults to "Type - Simple' and "Size - Thread type: ISO"

Thanks for your help!

I wanted to stay clear from adding additional mapkeys at this point.

I found the following config option and its doing exactly what I was after.

!Option to load system .hol files
hole_load_system_param_files no

Thanks for all the replies. I appreciate all the help I continue to receive on this platform!!!

You didn't say what version of Creo you are using, but I think the preset functionality introduced in Creo 12 is what you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply. I am on Creo 10

Does that mean I'm unable to achieve this? The presets looks interesting, I just don't need that level of customization at this point.

If at a minimum I could have it look at the correct .hol file every time I start the hole feature. That doesn't seem to farfetched?

I tried renaming the default .hol locations as well as deleting them entirely but they still show up and are the default selection.

The  way to do this would be to create a mapkey that you would use to start hole creation.

In creo 13 you can do this with feature presets.
