Hi,

Do we have an option to create an animation for Hose/Flexible pipe in Creo?

Appreciate for your response.

Thanks

Hello @NareshJ

Referring to CS63482, flexible components are not are not dynamically updated during Mechanism or Animation.  All solid bodies are considered rigid during the motion/animation and unable to change in shape or size.  Updating the shape and size of a component would require a regeneration but regeneration does not occur between analysis or animation frames.

Hello

Thank you for your response

The animation for the hose is actually important to me as my project depends on this completely. Currently I am using Creo Design Essentials. Is there any way to animate this taking for reference of when we drag a pipe manually, where the motion of the pipe can be traced. Is it possible to do this? If not with the actual method but a sort of a fake method can also be ok which justifies around 75-80% of what i want to do!!

Please help me with this?

Thank you

Hi @DM_11736106

Your question is probably best if asked in its own post.  Using the Mechanism application, a trace curve or motion envelope could trace the path of a point or the space used by a model during an analysis playback.  Note that the previous response is repeated that this is the motion of a rigid body, not flexible.

For a fake method, you could probably regenerate a model for each step and place a datum at an approximate location corresponding point.
