I'd like to add a group into family table, but Creo always reminded me "No group found".

How can I do it ?

A couple of conditions have to be met in order to add it and it refers to something a little different than what you are probably thinking about. In order to add a group it must be a UDF and must be table driven in order to add the feature to a family table.

Thanks very much for your comments firstly.

Could you tell me how to make it be table driven?

You create a UDF from the Tools>UDF Library. There is a Family Table option that is in the dialog box for creating the UDF.

Hmmm, I don;t know about that, I've added groups to family tables in the past and didn't have an issue. Now, if you're talking about choosing between a patterned group, where you want the groups to change number or size etc., then there are some things to do. But if you're simply talking about just the existance of a group in one instance and the suppression of a group in another ("Y" or "N"), it's easy to add.

That's true using the FEATURE option. If you're using the GROUP option it has to be a table driven UDF. Sorry for any confusion.

Thanks very much for both of you.

I have added it into family table successfully.
