How can I change the intensity of visualization when highlighting (taking the mouse pointer upon ) a part ?

Hi All

When I take my mouse pointer over a part in an assembly , it highlights so much that I will be unable to see the rest of the assembly. Is there a way to change it ?

turn prehighlight off with prehighlight_selection NO

    Thank you very much, yes but that only disables the highlighting , but not its way of doing it, when highlighting anyway, all of the lines, even the ones in the back of the part become green and make everything hard to see
