We are planning to use some AAX extensions to our global licensses PROE_DesignEssG.

Is that possible and how can that be achieved fo specific selected users.

Hi,

you have to add additional psf file into Creo Parametric\bin subdirectory, for example parametric+AAX.psf

This file should contain line similar to the following one.

ENV=CREOPMA_FEATURE_NAME=PROE_DesignEssG (10119)

In my case 10119 is code related to SPN-3021-L  Creo Advanced Assembly Extension package

On each user's system open ...

"C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo xxx\Parametric\bin\reconfigure.lnk". where Creo xxx is the version of creo in use to Reconfigure. Admin Rights for the system would be required.

Add the required licenses and name the new configuration as Creo_AAX for differentiation.

The next time Creo opens, it would ask for the configuratin to use.

p.s.

I am unable to post screenshots since it requires admin rights.

I have the same question for ISDX / Restyle function.

Can that one also be added as an extension to Creo DesignEssG

Hi,

if you own SPN-3216-L- Creo Reverse Engineering Extension (REX) then you can use following line:

ENV=CREOPMA_FEATURE_NAME=PROE_DesignEssG (209 93)

209 ... Reverse Engineering (Restyle)
93 ... VERIFY
