How to delete this parameter from a part

I have a part model that has part level parameters that seemingly impossible to delete:

The issue seems to be because they were once used in a sketch feature to drive a text label

I've deleted all the features in the part and yet these parameters persist.

Did anyone encounter this kind of a situation and what was your work-around?
