How to Input Dimensions in Millimeters While Using 'inlbs' Template in Creo Parametric?

I'm currently using an 'inlbs' (inches, pounds) template for my projects in Creo Parametric. However, I frequently need to input dimensions that I already know in millimeters. I've tried to directly input mm values while specifying the units (e.g., "50 mm"), hoping Creo would auto-convert them to inches. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to work.

Has anyone found a way to directly input dimensions in millimeters while using an 'inlbs' template? I'm looking for a solution that eliminates the need to manually convert these values before entering them into Creo.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

After creating a new part using the 'inlbs' template but before creating geometry, change the units of the model to mm for length. Build the model entering the mm values for dimensions. Once the model geometry is defined change the length units back to inches.

The function doesn't work. After I press 'Enter,' the text box remains, but the number reverts to the automatically generated one.

It keeps as 3.0050XXXXXX, no matter what I put.

I said it works if you are inputting the value via relations. Being able to specify that a number is [mm] is not available when entering numbers for dimensions in a sketch.

We generally model everything in inches but are often using customer info that is in millimeters. We do exactly what @StephenW suggests. Or, if dimensions are being input via relations, equations can explicitly indicate that the value being used is in millimeters, and Creo will convert it for you. Something like:
