I have a question while using the Creting Mirrored Assemblies feature.

This is a mirror copy of the entire assembly.

There is no need to separately set the reference side for mirroring, just press Save a Mirror Assembly. What side do you mirror copy to?

Also, is there any way to manually set the mirror reference plane???

So, is it possible to change the base?

Hi,

I am afraid that Mirror Assembly command does not enable user to select mirror plane.

Solution:

  • create new empty assembly
  • create mirror plane
  • assemble your assembly
  • use Mirror Component command
