Question

Image in Notebooks appear as OLE box and don't show graphics

As I recall, importing image in Notebooks was possible in the past. Currently, there seems to be an issue with it. Sometime importing a jpg might pop up, but most of all you get a frame showing 'OLE' and the imported file name, but no graphics.

I can't seem to figure out what the root cause is. Importing an existing JPG file as an object seems the only way to do in a notebook, while a drawing has a specific Images import command
Anyone knows how to solve this?

Using Creo 9.0.4.0 and to my knowledge this worked fine in Creo Parametric 7

Hi,

if you changed computer and Windows version than the problem is related to this change.

Try adding picture in bmp format.

No, unfortunately BMP format does not solve the issue

Any IGES, DWG, or DXF file can be imported into a notebook. This is according to PTC documentation. I have only used these file types to bring in graphics data, are you certain that JPG files were working in the past in notebooks (layouts)?
