MATH SYMBOLS

Uncertain what you mean by “all math symbols”, but when I’ve needed characters/symbols that aren’t in the regular alphabet, things like the degree symbol, superscript 2, superscript 3, etc. I’ve resorted to:

1. Open a Word document and insert the desired symbol.
2. Copy the symbol from the document.
3. Paste the symbol into the Creo note.

It’s tedious, hopefully you only need a few symbols here and there. If you’re talking about trying to depict complex equations in a note, that will be quite a bit more complicated. I don’t know if my method works for any given math symbol, but I’ve been successful with it for what I’ve needed.

If the particular math symbols you need are not showing up correctly because they aren’t defined in the isofont dataset, you could

1. Figure out what standard character is in the position you need in the Symbol font (for example, p → pi)
2. Type those letters in where you want their respective symbols.
3. Highlight those letters and change their font to Symbol.

They’ll then show up as the symbols. They might look a bit odd because of the thickness of the characters in the font, but you’ll get your math symbols.

Lot of time I use the Alt Keystroke for various symbols, but I am not sure if they are all covered.

i.e.

ø is (Hold the Alt key for all strokes) Alt-0218.

° is (Hold the Alt key for all strokes) Alt-0176.

± is (Hold the Alt key for all strokes) Alt-241.

If you don’t remember, a quick google search usually gives you the key strokes needed.
