PTC Flexnet license server version

Is there a way to have the license file inform you which PTC Flexnet license server version is required for the license file. We seen to always get caught installing an updated license file that is not supported by the license server. Then it becomes a pain to ask IT to get it upgraded.

It is also confusing that Arbortext Editor/styler/PE/ALD are not listed on the following pages
