ptc_vars.bat not founded

I am using Pro/ENGINEER and Creo Elements/Pro Release Wildfire 3.0 and DatecodeM070

Hello. I have a customer who are using ProE Wildfire 3 + Pro Concept. He recently changed his computer and needed a new license archive due to HOST ID Change. The license has been updated correclty for ProE Wildfire 3 and the soft is now working, but, se has a troubleshooting with his soft Concept. Could you help us to determinte possible causes which are provoking the message attached below?

Wildfire 3 is almost 20 years old and no longer supported by PTC.

 

You didn't attach a message. Presumably it is that ptc_setvars.bat was not found? If that's the case, the first thing I'd try is to see if you can find that file on the old computer. From what I was able to google about it it's a batch file that sets the environment variables that are necessary to run Pro/Engineer. Makes sense, given the name.

 

If you can find that file on the new computer, then most likely there's something wrong with the path designation in the user's environment, so the system can't find that particular batch file. You might need to change the environment variable for the path to include the directory where ptc_setvars.bat is located.

 

Other than that, not much we, users of the software but not that antique of a version, will be able to do.

it is up to your customer. They have to contact soft Concept developers.
