Repeat Regions / Filters

I'm trying to exclude parts from the BOM. I was instructed to open Repeat Regions, then select Filters, then click on the BOM and 2 options would appear, Remove: By Rule or Buy Item. But it will not even let me click on the BOM. Not sure why its not functioning properly.

Are you sure that your table is a repeat region?

When I select By Item it gives me this....:you may not perform this action due to symbol asm.mbr.cparam
