Question

Simple representtion of assembly and its BOM table

Hello all,

I have made a simple representation for an assembly. At the time of it's drafting, BOM table will generate all the parts in that representation with their quantities.

If we make one part exclude from that representation, then in BOM table that part's quantity will be lost.

"In creo is it possible that we want a part in the drawing view but its quantity should not be there in BOM table?"

Hi Hyder,

The drawing view, BOM table and BOM Balloons are all connected.

The table will report the information from the view.

You can, however, create a repeat region relation to change the information displayed, in the table.

Take a look at the following document for further information:

Suggested Technique for Using Report Relations to Control Repeat Region Parameters

Thanks,

Amit

To avoid having a repeat region record for a specific part, Table > Repeat Regions > Filter > By Item.  For a class of item (perhaps identified by a style of model name, or a part parameter, > By Rule instead.
