Sketcher, funktions can only be selected after clicking in 2nd monitor

This problem exists in several versions of Creo (e.g. 2 and 7). When I want to select a funtion in the scetcher, the cursor doesn't change unless I make a click in the second monitor. This problem happens quite often. Sometimes I cannot type in values unless I make an extra click in the second monitor. No support could help me until now. The only advice was to exchange my hardware.

I exchanged the 3D Connexion Space Explorer to a Space Mouse Compact. Since then the error has't occurred any more.

Hi,

the problem is specific to your "environment" therefore only you can find the solution.

It looks like Creo window is not active when you click line/circle button. Creo window is activated when you click left monitor. I have never met such situation.

 

1.] move Creo to "left" window and test it

2.] create new user, login as new user a test Creo
