Solidify ..can i make it default to Remove Material instead of Fill with solid?

Hi Guys,

 

Is it possible to make certain settings within a button default?

 

For example. Solidify. I want this to always default to Remove material when i click on it. Is this possible.

 

There are many other buttons that i would like to set certain options as a default too. 

 

 

I know i could make a map key, but was wondering if there was another way to specify default settings within an function.

I'm in Creo7.0.2.0  if this matters.

It may possible using Toolkit or one of the other API to create custom UI elements. There is no provision in the UI configuration tools available to a user without programming that can do this that I am aware of.

 

The best option without a custom app using an API is to create a map-key and add it to the UI where you want it with an icon in the GUI. I have done this for certain measurement tools to streamline workflow and it works nicely with most things.
