SOLVED: Dimension Text Dialog box doesn't come up

Hello,
I am having issues with adding a dimension text in the drawing. 
After adding a dimension in the drawing, when I am trying to add a text to the dimension with the 'dimension text' option - the dialog box doesn't come up and I am not able to add the text.

On the other had, even without the dialog box, if I type something and hit enter, it gets added to the dimension.

Anyone faced such an issue and know a solution to get the dialog box up?
