Question

Threadmilling in CREO 2

When creating a threadmilling sequence it seems that it is trying to plunge from the operation retract instead of the sequence retract. I have it check to not always use the operation retract. I have a plunge feed of 30 ipm set and I want it to rapid to .100" above the part and then plunge with the feedrate. This only occurs of the first hole.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Jason,

This could be a version problem, I remember this happening to me a couple of years ago.

Try Cero 2.0 M040.

P.S. I like the "Talon Grip" workholding products.

Barry,

I am on M040 now and the problem is still there. Heres to hoping its fixed in M050.

I am a big fan of Pit-Bull clamps as well. I design alot of fixtures with Pitbull clamps on one side and Talon Grippers on the other. They work great for 5-sided work on a trunnion.
