Welding notes hiding in 3D (Creo 3)

Hi,
I want to hide the notes made by the Welding Module meanwhile the Annotation Display is ON.
So I've tried to put them into a layer and then to hide this new layer, but I can't do it. I'm able to hide the feature (so the surface of the weld) but not the notes.
When I select the layer the notes get highlitghted; but when I get hide the layer, they don't disappear...

It is because of change in functionality about controlling the display of 3d annotations with layers. You can find the details for the same in CS95439

As layer cannot control the display of annotations, you can remove annotation using remove from state and when required use Add to state under annotate tab.
