Welding symbol - Default setting

Hello,

I am using Creo 8.

 

By default the tail on welding symbol is displayed at symbol creation and reappear when symbol is redifined even if there is nor weld process selected  or sequence ID displayed.

How to change this default setting?

You would need to use the Symbol Gallery to modify and save the symbol.  I believe the LEFT group attribute would need to be changed to independent.  The symbol gallery can be a bit difficult to use as it is still based on the old menu manager.

There is always more to learn.

Thanks for the proposal,


I updated the symbol to change groups to independent but Weld process is still diplayed by default. It looks like "none" in weld definition is considered as a blank value.
Here enclosed are some pics to explain.

Looks like you are on a newer release than I am with an updated UI for symbols.  I am using 7.10.

There is always more to learn.
