Hello everyone.

I have an issue: Two pipes with straight edges (i.e. not prepared edges) are connected to each other. By using the Weld Wizard I create preparation with the following parameters: 2 mm root opening, 2.5 mm depth and bevel angle of 35°. Everything works well except that the weld being created as a surface. When I choose "Solid" in "Weld geometry type" Regeneration failure message pops up. How do I get Solid weld type?

I will appreciate some help in solving this issue.

Best,

Sergey

I think that I found solution: Weld size should be equal to the pipe thickness in order to create a solid weld.

In my opinion this is a very usefull information.
