When you save a backup of the assembly, you want to save all parts and drawings

requested functionality is not implemented in Creo Parametric (without a connection to Windchill).

This is part of Windchill PDMLink functionailtiy

Saving a backup of the drawing will save the assemblies and parts.

The assembly and parts have no linkage to the drawing, except with Windchill.

It's sort of slow and tedious, but hey, it works.
