Combined edges and give them a name for graph post-processing?

One can create graphs in post-processing say stress along an edge.

Is it possible to “save” the edges making up the curve for easy re-use? In some FE pre/post tools one can combine edges and give a name (say “EdgeOfInterest”) so that one can select the name (rather than edges) every time.
