Contact in a mechanism

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask you how to couple two plates in a mechanism. As you can see in the attached image, my intention is to move plate 1 and make it so that when I touch plate 2, it moves downwards accordingly. It's possible? Thanks, Matteo.

You can use a 3D contact option.
I did it in Creo 4.0 and, it seems to work.
