Question

excluded elements warning still shown in the solver output file even after 'IEAC" is turned on.

I have added IEAC (Exclude elements autogem control) to my fixed constraint areas. Autogem mesh also reflects the IEAC control. However, in the solver output file, i still see a warning" Excluded elements may be needed near constrain". Is this normal ?

This is only perhaps not okay if, for example, point constraints are poorly set so that singularities actually arise.

Hi Skunks,

Thanks for responding. I have an edge selected as a fixed constraint. Once i exclude them from the analysis (ignore stresses), then shouldn't the singularities be omitted?

In the case of a singularity, the stresses are also distorted at a distance.

Normally, the mesh is also refined at the singularity.

(in my job, I have 95% of my FEM without singularities).
