How to export animated deformation results to video file

Hi 


I would like to export the animated deformation results to a video file so for example i can include in a powerpoint presentation 

 

I can't see any option to export options to a video file. What is the best way of acheiving this?

When I needed to do this a few years ago, I had to use a video capture program. In my case it was Camtasia (I think). There are probably open source programs that can do this type of thing, otherwise how would people be able to forward around all those meme-based snippets?
