Manikin required access to sub-models

Version: Creo Parametric 10.0.4.0

I am trying to use the updated Manikin models.  When I try to move the manikin model Creo requires that I have access to some of the sub-models.   This makes using the manikin models more challenging.  I can move the manikin model around, but if I try to edit a joint, then manikin requires access to the lower level assemblies.   If all the models are read only, I can't continue.   The manikin model should need to write access to these lower level assemblies.
