Modeling Idealized Chains Link in Simulate

Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone has ever modeled a length of chain in Creo Simulate as part of an assembly. I would imagine would be best model it as several small idealized beams with there vertices shared. I know in ANSYS there is a specialized beam element that can simulate chains but I was not sure about Simulate.
