Modelling plain concrete parts

Hello all, 

I would like to simulate a column steel plate supported on a concrete slab. The load is in the downward direction so basically the steel plate induces compression on the concrete surface.

Material definition in CREO simulate, seems oriented to metals only? I tried defining the stress-strain relationship of concrete with 3000 psi strength but I haven't been successful. Is anyone aware of any work-around for brittle materials?
