How to define constraints for hinge while doing FEA analysis ?

I tried using pin and planar but it did not work.

In what way did this fail?

This is for mechanica analysis for door hinge

Analysis gives localised high stresses at corner oppposite to applied load (which is not true in real world because applied load is not that great to cause stresses beyond yield point)

so that means model constraints are not correct

i have used displacement constraint for hinge flat face (using surface region) and pin constraint for hinge pin

planar constraint for hinge edge

Model looks okay in animation but stresses are localized in corner (rather along the entire edge)

constraints to simulate hinge

Free to translate in Y direction

and free to rotate in z direction

let me know if you have any suggestions

Maybe it is not properly assuming shared loads.
