Structural Temperature Loads Failing

I have applied a structural temperature load of -400 F on 1045 Steel.  I've plugged in the material the coefficient of friction which is .00000772 with a load of -565 lbf in the y direction and the material von mises (PSI) is spiking around 2 million.  It only does this once I plug in the heat load while in the Structure mode.  The material does not fail if I remove the heat load.  I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing wrong on this.  Does anyone have a clue to the exact steps for this process?
