Thermal PC Board tutorial does not work

The Thermal PC board tutorial does not work for Creo 4.0... the temperature value just increases forever.

 

The assembly used: thermal_pc.asm

The changes made:

- added heat flow of 150 mW to respective feature

- added convection condition to all fin surfaces with conv coef = .075 [mW/(mm^2*C)] and bulk temp = 20 [C]

Hi, there has been another person who experienced this and they had to update their drivers to get it to work. Have you opened a formal TS call?

I have not opened a formal TS call. I don't need the thermal function of Simulate Live but I wanted to try it since I had done the other tutorials.

Understood, the thermal tutorial does work so I would just have liked to get to the bottom of this with you.
