Unable to Save High-Quality Images in Structural Simulation

Hi everyone,
I'm working in Simulation (Analyses and Studies) within the Structural module in PTC Creo, and I’ve run into an issue: I can’t save result images in high-quality formats like PNG or TIFF.

In this section, Creo only lets me save images in lower-quality formats, and I’d like to avoid using screenshots or the snipping tool because the resolution becomes quite poor.

Does anyone know if there’s a way to export result images with the same quality as when PNG/TIFF saving is available?
Maybe a setting, a workaround, or something I might be missing?

I’m also attaching two images to show the issue:

  • The first image is taken in Simulate (before entering Analyses and Studies) and the quality is great.

  • The second image is taken inside Analyses and Studies, and the quality is noticeably lower, which is the problem I’m trying to solve.

Hi,

did you ask PTC Support?

There is ... its just not in an obvious place. PTC decided to bury it in the print menu.

File -> Print -> change printer to image format you want.
