Adding change markers in page margins

Hi,

We have a requirement to add change markers in page margins. These can be symbols in a particular font that is the same size as the text in the page, or it can be an image icon which can be larger than the text. There can also be more than one change marker (maximum 2, hopefully) side-by side.

I don’t think there’s a way to do this directly in Styler (version 8.3.1), but I’m hoping someone might know how to use an APP over-ride to add the change markers next to the text they apply to, as well as adjust their vertical and horizontal positioning.

To dynamically add change markers to page margins in Arbortext Styler, you can utilize an APP (Arbortext Publishing Publisher) overlay override by injecting text streams or inline rules. Because you require image icons or symbols and side-by-side positioning, the most robust method is to embed inline objects that overflow into the margin.
