Technology evolving - Arbortext is aware. I did use Co-pilot here. Define Content Intelligence for Authoring Technical Publications:

Copilot

Content Intelligence for authoring technical publications involves using advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), to enhance the creation, management, and distribution of content. Here are some key aspects:

  1. Semantic Enrichment: Adding metadata and tags to content to improve searchability and relevance. This helps in organizing content more effectively and making it easier to find and use
  2. Automated Content Generation: Using AI tools to create or assist in creating content. These tools can generate drafts, suggest improvements, and even identify gaps in existing documentation
  3. Content Personalization involves tailoring content to meet the specific needs of different audiences. This can involve adjusting the content's tone, complexity, and format based on user preferences and behaviors.
  4. Enhanced Collaboration: Facilitating better collaboration among authors, editors, and other stakeholders through integrated platforms that support real-time editing, feedback, and version control
  5. Analytics and Insights: Leveraging data analytics to understand how content is being used and how it can be improved. This includes tracking metrics like engagement, readability, and user feedback1.

By integrating these elements, content intelligence helps create more effective, efficient, and user-friendly technical publications.

Really delivering the right topic - or right tagged content - is valuable to technicians out in field. Really makes sense as opposed to presenting a wall of text.

Pantopix did a presentation that covers using product hierarchy, metadata, and product properties to filter out irrelevant paragraphs - using what Arbortext and DITA has in place. https://pantopix.com/en/lecture-property-modelling-for-product-ontology/
