Insert tags into the Epic 5.4 versions.

I have down loaded and installed the first four versions of Epic 5.4. I recently noticed the following problem with all four versions. If I open an existingdocument I am unable to add any tagging at the beginning of the document. The tag will appear at the bottom of the document or the next valid spot.

This currently works in the Epic 5.3 versions. I read through the release notes of the 5.4 versions and tried a few things but have not figured out the problem.

We are using the UNIX version and SGML.

    Check your preferences for Smart Tags and try turning ot off. Sounds
    like the feature is kicking in if it is moving to a valid location.

    I tired thatand that did not seem to help the problem.

    Are you using version 5.4 on UNIX?

    Do you see the problem?

    Trying to determine if it is the product or maybe something in our system.
