Is it possible to force a line NOT to break at slash ?

Hello,

I have certain cases where I want frame to break a line after a slash (as in the and/or phrase) as well as some cases where I do not (as a slash in a measuring unit Kg/m ). I don't want to turn off breaking entirely.

As exemple I need to stop the breaking line betwen the "m/" and the "s" in this phrase  (m/s).
