Locked license access

Does anyone know if locked licenses of Arbortext Editor can be used globally or are they tied to contracts like concurrent licenses?

Licenses are tied to maintenance contracts. To upgrade or have access to move licenses required them to be on maintenance. A locked license is licensed to the machine address as mentioned. If you want to move it to another machine, you must return the license and then have it reissued to the new machine id.

You may need to discuss this with the Sales group, depending on what you mean by being 'tied to contracts'

A locked license is linked to the Host ID of the machine that was used to generate the license, and does not need a connection to a License Server to function.
