PE and Tomcat configuration?

Question

Is there a reasonable way to switch a previously-integrated PE installation from one version of Tomcat to another?

I am trying to switch a PE install from Tomcat6 to a Tomcat7 service. I cannot find what file needs to be updated.

Even uninstalling PE, only running the tomcat 7 service, and reinstalling will prompt me to integrate with Tomcat, but still points the PE install at the tomcat6 service.

I'm assuming you can't uninstall Tomcat 6? Even temporarily?

I've always had the luxury of PE being the only app using Tomcat, so I've
always uninstalled PE/Tomcat/Java (or, occasionally, Tomcat/Java), before
reinstalling Java/Tomcat/PE (or, Java/Tomcat followed by reintegrating
PE/Tomcat) so I have not run into the issue you're describing. As such, I
don't know how (or if) you can specify which installation of Tomcat PE
should use.
