Problems with switch from web to fixed licence (Isodraw)

Hello,

 

at our company some share a web licence. Now one of the computers got a fixed licence. When it loggs in it still uses the web licence. Only when the web licence is already in use, it uses the fixed licence.

We tried to change the settings in menu start up, but still same problem. Is there another setting/menu to be changed?

You could remove the Network path in the PTC_D_licence_file. Not sure if you would change the license order to static license first, then network license, if this would cause it to check for licenses in that order.

 

This is found in the system, advanced system settings, Advanced, Environment Variables, system variables.

The order seems to be critical. Put your fixed license first in the environmental variables for PTC_D_LICENSE_FILE and then your address for the shared license. It will look in the fixed license file and if it does not find it will look on the server. Try that and it should work fine. Example from my machine: c:\Arbortextlicense\lm_13960100_498530.txt;7788@brksvw385
